A motorbike owned and signed by U2 frontman Bono will be auctioned to raise money for motorcycle charity Riders For Health.
The red Ducati 916 will go under the hammer at the International Motorcycle and Scooter Show in Birmingham, which will run from November 23rd to December 2nd to raise money for health workers in Africa.
Previous owners of the bike are fellow U2 member Adam Clayton and the late INXS frontman Michael Hutchence.
Chief executive of Riders For Health Andrea Coleman stated: "Bono's commitment to Africa and his support for those living in poverty and ill-health is well-known. And for us at Riders, reaching those people in rural Africa is our focus and is a major challenge."
In related news, it was recently reported that former Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne auctioned a number of his motorcycles, including the Yamaha Banshee 350 that he was nearly killed on in 2003.
