Pet show supports church fund

Over 140 dogs took part in a pet show in Norwich to raise funds to support Fundenhall Church Restoration Fund, it has been reported.
A range of pets were involved in the event, including ponies, ferrets and sheep.
A restoration fund committee member told the Diss Mercury that some £4,000 had been raised by the hundreds of people that attended the event, which included ferret racing, pony rides and a dog scurry competition.
The Best in Show prize was awarded to a Kerry Blue Terrier called Parker.
Judge Francis Jonas told the publication: "I judge several shows each year but the variety of breeds of dog exhibited today is the widest I have seen for a long while."
It is advisable for consumers to check that their pet insurance covers professional shows as it may help with potentially costly veterinary bills should an accident occur.
Last month, the Pet Care Trust stated that pet insurance could provide reassurance and lessen heartache should owners have to take their animals to the vet and possibly face large bills.
