A new standard in luxury for travelling pets is now available in the form of the Komfort Pets Carrier, which claims to be the first climate-controlled domestic animal transporter in the world.

Making use of conduction and convection at the same time, the carrier complements the natural methods used by a dog or cat to maintain a comfortable temperature, according to the company.

Regular trips to the vet in the carrier may be advisable, to ensure that animals are kept healthy - owners may also wish to take out comprehensive pet insurance to make sure that potentially costly medical bills are kept to a minimum, or avoided altogether.
