Cat wins top title

Some 3,000 entries were submitted in a competition run by the Manchester Evening News (MEN), which saw a tortoiseshell cat called Kitty win the top prize.
Entries in the My Pet's A Winner photography contest included cats, dogs, goldfish, parrots and a snail.
The newspaper partnered Pets at Home to supply a prize of £1,000 in pet vouchers.
Kitty was selected by MEN picture editor John Jaffay and commercial director of Pets at Home Catriona Marshall.
Speaking to the newspaper, Kitty's owner commented: "She will be very spoilt, that's for sure. She is quite a shy cat really and the picture was one of the few images that we have got of her. She is lovely."
Kitty's owners may wish to ensure they do not over indulge their prize-winner with treats as animals that are overfed and do not get enough exercise risk becoming obese and could potentially require costly veterinary bills.
Comprehensive pet insurance is one way to ease financial pressure should a pet have to undergo an expensive operation and is available from a range of providers.
