A stray cat has been living the high life after being adopted by staff at Manchester Airport, it has been reported.
The one-eared ginger feline has been named Olly after the main office block of the facility - Olympic House.
Olly has been accepted by air stewards and other members of staff and now receives food parcels from destinations such as Paris, Chicago and New York.
Workers even clubbed together to buy him a luxury cat box.
Receptionist Hazel Williams told the Manchester Evening News: "He's a very special cat - and a lucky one too."
Olly also has a page on the social networking site Facebook, so that his new friends can keep an eye on his progress.
Consumers who adopt stray animals may wish to invest in comprehensive pet insurance so that it is easier to cope with any unexpected veterinary bills that they may be faced with.
The Daily Record recently reported on the rise in popularity of social networking sites dedicated to cats and dogs, such as catster.com and dogster.com.
