Pets offered transport and therapy service

Pet owners looking for assistance with transporting their animals may receive a helping hand, it has emerged.
Jo Buckingham, a professional dog listener from Hill Park in Congresbury, transports pets to and from various appointments, offers day care and overnight stay services and holds listening sessions to help improve a canine's behaviour, reports the Weston Mercury.
Following such appointments, it was suggested that animals may become less aggressive
She said: "I help people if they are having problems with their dogs. The common problems are if they are pulling on their leads or are aggressive and I help the owner to turn their behaviour round."
In addition, she walks people's dogs from Clevedon, Nailsea, Yatton and surrounding areas in Northern Somerset.
And getting such exercise may improve animals' health so potentially reducing the need for their owner to make a costly pet insurance claim in the future.
In other news in the region, it was revealed that pet owners now have the opportunity to attend a first aid course for their animals, teaching them techniques such as first aid and how to transport a furry friend safely to a vet.
