Feed pets over the internet

Owners who are away from home may soon be able to make sure that their animals are kept fed and watered without the need for a pet sitter thanks to a new gadget.
The iSeePet360 allows users to make use of a remote internet connection to make sure that furry friends have enough food, thus allowing owners to not put their animals in boarding kennels or ask a friend or neighbour to do the honours.
Meals are dispensed as the owner wishes from anywhere that they are able to access the internet.
Other features of the gadget include a musical chime which allows the animal to be alerted when it is time for food and a video camera for keeping an eye on the pet, notes review site G4.
Ensuring that an animal gets an appropriate amount of food can help maintain their good health, which can in turn prevent them from requiring costly veterinary treatment and pet insurance claims.
Meanwhile, charity PDSA recently stated that pet obesity is a big problem in dogs and cats.
