'Consider pets' when moving home - pet health insurance

People moving house should ensure that they take their family pet's reactions into consideration, according to Butcher's Pet Care.
The animal nutrition firm tells the Glasgow Daily Record that every year some 30,000 pets go missing while a move takes place due to animals becoming disoriented.
Pets can become confused by new smells and different layouts, as well as new routes for walks, the publication notes.
Alison Cockcroft, from the firm, explains: "Although moving house is an exciting time, it can often send pets into a tizzy. So it's important to take extra-special care of them during the moving process."
She suggests that it is a good idea to try and create a familiar environment for the animals in their new home by surrounding them with their favourite toys and blankets.
Meanwhile, Sainsbury's Bank stated in recent months that some pet insurance policies provide owners with financial assistance to help advertise the loss of an animal if it goes missing.
