Cats 'more in the moment' than humans - pet health insurance

Cats live more in the moment than their human counterparts and this can explain some of their behavioural traits, it has been claimed. Karen Santos from the International Fund for Animal Welfare in Massachusetts is convinced that living from experience to experience is the reason why cats tend to express an anger they feel immediately and in short bursts. "They don't hold grudges and when they do, they are short-lived and specific to a particular event," she told Koam TV's online news channel. Koam's reporter Joanne Eglash agreed with Ms Santos' assessment and wrote that it would explain why her cat often appears to sulk for a short period after a visit to the vet. Whether or not a cat holds a genuine grudge against its owner after visiting the vet is likely to remain a mystery but it is always advisable to have a pet health insurance policy in place to make sure such an eventuality is less expensive than it might otherwise be. Meanwhile, the Sunderland Echo this week featured a report on a woman named Clare Metcalf who is convinced that she can hear animals and help with their problems.
