Jester heads out on the road - pet health insurance

A curious cat has been reunited with his owner after a 100-mile journey that began on April fool's day.
The aptly named Jester decided to investigate the back of a delivery lorry and ended up unintentionally hitching a lift from Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire to Shropham in Norfolk.
He was found after been caught in a device designed to prevent stray cats breeding.
"We check the traps every four hours. We knew it must be a domestic cat because they make a lot more noise. Feral cats don't really communicate with humans," said Molly Cutmore to the Diss Express.
Jester's owner could be tracked down because the pet was microchipped.
"If he didn't have a micro-chip, we would never have seen him again. I've told all my friends to get their animals micro-chipped," said Jenny Fenton.
The pet's journey pales into comparison to an Israeli cat called Ziggy. He travelled from the country to the UK for 17 days via a boat without food or water and lived to tell the tale.
Pet health insurance might be wise for those owners whose cats and dogs are of an overly inquisitive nature.
