Family pet named as hero - Insurance for dogs

A family have hailed their border collie as a hero, after the dog helped to rescue a missing child.
Pip, the new pup of Beth Cuzen, would not stop pestering his owner, who did not know what was wrong with the dog, reports the Crawley Observer.
However, Ms Cuzen then realised that her two-year-old daughter Chloe had wandered out of the front door and was walking down the road.
The heroic hound then bolted out of the door and knocked the girl to the ground, before sitting next to her until Ms Cuzen arrived.
Pip's brave actions led her to praise the talented pet, which should be protected himself with pet health insurance.
"My clever dog told me all about it, if he hadn't kept pestering me anything could have happened to Chloe," Ms Cuzen told the paper.
Across the pond, a South Carolina labrador has also been applauded after it alerted a family that their house was in the path of a forest fire, according to WLTX.com
