Dogs looking for a new home

A total of more than 80 dogs are looking for a new home after a woman from Norfolk finally accepted she was in no position to care for them all. Chrsitina Cade was in more dyer need of pet insurance than most dog owners until last month when the RSPCA persuaded her to allow the animals to be re-housed, reports the Dereham Times. A concerned local resident informed the animal welfare charity of the situation and there have been some difficulty in finding new homes for the dogs because they have had little contact with humans and are not well trained. "Having spent so long living as a pack and having little human contact, they deserve to live the rest of their lives in caring homes," said the RSPCA's animal welfare manager for the eastern region Paul Williams. In other pet insurance news, the Diss Express reported recently that a blind dog named Lucy who starred on Channel 4's the Paul O'Grady Show last week has been inundated with offers of a new home.
