'Dog MySpace' unveiled - Cheap pet insurance

A new social networking site that lets dogs on the internet has been launched, it has emerged.
Club Dog, based at the www.dogchannel.com, allows owners to build a profile around their pet and its adventures, reports the Earth Times.
Users of the site can upload pictures and videos of their dog, as well as tell other owners about their canine friend's habits and tastes.
Michelle Williams, director of internet marketing for BowTie, which owns Club Dog, told the website: "The dog owner of today is a whole new breed. Pets are their pride and joy and they pamper them with the best food, accessories and care."
She continued that a social networking site for pets is a "natural fit".
Just like human versions such as Facebook and MySpace, users of Club Dog can browse each others profiles and leave comments on their page.
According to Club Dog, the 21,811 users of the site can earn points that can be redeemed to buy products for their pet.
