Stolen dog comes back after four years - Cheap pet insurance

A vet has been reunited with her missing dog - after the pet was stolen more than four years ago, according to reports.
Christine Howe, from Uckfield, lost her black labrador Midge when she let him out to play in the back garden, reports the Hastings & St Leonard Observer.
After an unsuccessful six-month search which involved putting up posters in the local area, checking lost pet websites and contacting the police, Ms Howe admits that she had "given up hope".
However, last week she received a phonecall from a vet's surgery in west Sussex, which told her that the dog had been handed in to the practice.
"Fortunately Midge had been microchipped and my name, practice telephone number and mobile number were logged on the database," Ms Howe told the newspaper.
Ms Howe now believes that Midge was taken four-and-a-half years ago to be used for breeding.
Last month, research from Sainsbury's suggested that up to one million pets are stolen in the UK each year.
