A family pet will join human contestants in the grand final of the television programme Britain's Got Talent.
Dancing collie Gin and 16-year-old owner Kate Nicholas were voted through to the final after a performance of the Scissor Sisters' song I Don't Feel Like Dancing.
On the programme, judge Piers Morgan said: "Simon Cowell said that's the most talented dog in Britain I don't agree - I think that is the most talented dog in the world."
According to the Mail on Sunday, praise for Gin was also given by fellow judge Amanda Holden, who said: "Forget about being the most talented dog in the world.
"It's one of the most talented performers in the world."
Kate, from Shropshire, is studying for a national diploma in animal management and takes Gin to college with her one day a week.
The two will be joined in the final by a Michael Jackson tribute band and winners of future episodes to compete for the £100,000 in prize money.
Border collies enjoy playing with balls and other dog toys, says Battersea Dogs Home, although the dog's opinions on dancing to pop hits are not known.
