Dog rescued from owl ornament - Pet insurance

A pet dog was left in a tricky spot during a mouse hunt, after his head got stuck in a garden pot, it has emerged.
Hector the Norfolk terrier was chasing a mouse around the garden when he thought the rodent dashed to hide in an owl-shaped ornamental pot, reports the Metro.
The pet tried to follow its prey and managed to wedge his head into the opening of the ornament.
Owner Molly Mapes, from Burnham-on-Crouch in Essex, then found she could not remove the heavy pot from Hector's head and had to call in the fire service.
Firemen used hydraulic equipment to cut free the dog, and described the sight of a terrier with a pot owl on its head as "one of the strangest" they have seen.
"Hector made some strange noises while we were cutting the pot off but as soon as he was free he seemed really happy and not in any distress at all," Mrs Mapes told the newspaper.
Last month, firemen rescued a parrot from a burning flat and used oxygen to revive the bird, according to Lankland Echo.
