Paw Pals looks to expand - Pet health insurance

A Swindon-based company is seeking franchisees to help it expand its tailored pet care service.
Paw Pals, which offers pet-sitting services based around the owner's routine, is looking for animal lovers to set up a branch in their local town.
The firm launched in 2006 as a dog-walking business and expanded to give a professional level of care to pets with busy owners.
Now providing a bespoke service where its sitters work to pets' routine rather than making animals alter their habits, Pet Paws also offers holiday sitting, where the carer looks after the cat or dog in its own home.
Victoria Reinthal, Paw Pals managing director, said: "Britons are famously besotted with their pets, and it's our business to give them the best possible care, so we wont sell a franchise to someone just because they are willing to give us a cheque."
Ms Reinthal also said applicants must have a "business brain" and the ability to communicate well.
In addition, the firm offers pet owners an overnight sitting service for animals that do not like to be left alone and home boarding for dogs and small animals, allowing them to live with the sitter's family.
