A Norfolk newspaper has applauded its readers for helping to save abandoned animals.
The region's Advertiser recently ran a campaign to re-house retired greyhounds at Chris Dean's kennel and found readers offered their homes to the pets.
A new home was found for Pagan, who was renamed Charlie, in Aylsham and he even found a girlfriend in the form of Sandy, another retired greyhound.
Tufty was given a new home in Happisburgh and now enjoys walks and fishing trips with her new family, while Scooby moved into a house in Norwich - and got over his fear of stairs after being coaxed with cheese.
A forth dog - Elise - lives in Beccles and now visits a local nursing home, where she is treated to tea and biscuits. Her owners told the newspaper she is the "perfect pet".
Chris Dean has another dog seeking a new home, according to oldies.org.uk.
Max is a seven to eight-year-old greyhound who "adores the company of adult humans" and "is very affectionate and docile".
