'Bizarre parrot' flies away - Pet health insurance

A pet parrot that is fond of eccentric behaviour has gone missing after being chased by his owner's dog, it has been reported.
Mr Duke, an African grey, likes to display a range of strange talents, including singing the McDonalds theme, asking people "why?", mimicking cats fighting and making dog bark sounds, reports the Essex Gazette.
The bird's owner, David Thompson, a travel advisor for Transport for London, told the newspaper that the five-year-old pet is still in the area, although did not reveal if he is covered by pet insurance.
"We've been out whistling every morning and we've heard him whistle back. He loves to sing the McDonalds theme tune - we're not sure why - and he's responded to that too," he explained.
Mr Thompson asked anyone who sees the parrot to capture him using a towel - but warned that Mr Duke may growl at them.
Last month, it was reported that an escaped Japanese parrot was returned to his owners, after telling rescuers his name and full address.
