Bull terrier bounces away - Insurance for dogs

A York pet has used a trampoline to escape from his garden, leaving his worried owner behind.
Harvey, a three-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier, was left alone in owner Laura Kidson's garden last Friday (June 13th) and mysteriously disappeared.
Now, 27-year-old Ms Kidson believes the dog jumped on her children's trampoline to vault over the wire fence.
"He couldn't get over the fence on his own and must have used the trampoline to bounce himself into my neighbour's garden and got out," she told reporters.
She also revealed that Harvey liked to play on the toy with her four-year-old daughter Chloe and has been somewhat of an "escape artist" before.
Ms Kidson has since contacted the police and council dog warden about her bouncing bull terrier, but so far no-one has seen the missing mutt.
In addition to the dog's owner wanting him back, the family's other pet, a boxer puppy called Roxanne, is also missing Harvey.
Last week, the RSPCA revealed that Staffordshire bull terriers are one of the most abandoned dogs, along with German shepherds, rottweilers and Jack Russell terriers.
