Clumsy canine rescued ? again - Pet health insurance

A Shropshire pet certainly could use some insurance for dogs after notching up a catalogue of injuries, it has been reported.
Chester, a 12-year-old lurcher, could be the country's clumsiest dog due to his escapades, the latest of which saw him get stuck in a car, according to the Daily Mail.
The dog was chasing a ball when he got his paw wedged the boot mechanism of owner Jim Cockburn's car, requiring him to be rescued by the fire service.
Mr Cockburn told the newspaper: "I just thought, 'not again', while Chester just lay there looking at the fireman who was getting him out.
"Chester didn't look that bothered by it all - as if he does it all the time."
He also revealed that the hapless hound has had a total of nine major operations, has broken his tail bone, fallen down a rabbit hole and dislocated Mr Cockburn's after running into him the first time they met.
Research by Sainsbury's earlier this year suggested that pet insurance is recommended as the costs of looking after a dog increase as they age.
