A dog which had been abandoned and re-homed has been crowned champion of a national agility event. Helen Anderson saw a picture of Demon on a dog-rescue website and knew she could offer him a loving home, the Norwich Evening News reports. Two years on and Demon has proved himself to be a world-class athlete and taking the first-place prize at the Supadog Agility Rescue League after setting the fastest time around the course in his category. Ms Anderson told the newspaper: "It is quite addictive - mainly because it's such good fun! We have loads of friends that we know through the sport and it's a great way to keep our pets happy and healthy." The event itself compromised of a number of jumps, hoops and tunnels and was set up to commemorate the abilities of rescue dogs.
Several dogs that Demon competed against have strange names including Patchwork Puzzle, Little Bitty Pretty One, Forestflame Portos and Cambus Adventurer.
