New remembrance garden for Welsh pets - Pet health insurance

A memorial garden for departed pets in Buckley, Wales, is being built by a group of offenders, it has emerged.
Working under the supervision of the probation service, the team is turning a piece of derelict land behind Bistre Parish Church into an area for residents to remember their deceased pets, reports the Wales Daily Post.
The garden will be part of a community area which has been created with support from a £57,000 lottery grant and will feature plaques for the animals buried there.
Karen Morgan, a local dog owner, told the newspaper: "I think an area like that, particularly if the dog has played on that field, will be ideal."
A member of the team working on the memorial garden, Lewis Yarnold, also told the publication the form of punishment was "worthwhile", as it allows him to "give something back" to the community.
Last week, a new Garden of Remembrance was opened in London's PDSA Animal Cemetery to commemorate the 3,000 pets buried in its grounds.
