Women's site helps find cheap insurance
Posted :24-01-2005
An Internet motor insurance service aimed purely at women, is proving to be a hit, carpages.co.uk reports.
MissMotorQuote.co.uk has recently been launched, allowing women to search for the cheapest or suitable car insurance policies available to them.
Over 30 insurers are contacted by the website for quotes, with the service aiming to find policies tailored to each individual's need.
With research suggesting that more women are using the Internet year on year than men, the website is designed to reduce the burden for females seeking insurance.
"Women say they want more freedom of choice and to retain control over their lives. When it comes to motor insurance, they now have a new way to get what they want quickly and have more time to get on with more enjoyable pastimes," said Spencer Street, general manager at QuoteA, the network responsible for MissMotorQuote.co.uk.
Over half of the women using the website have been under the age of 24, while 28 per cent are between the ages of 25 and 34.
